This silk–cotton scarf is naturally dyed with Indigo, creating soft, calming blues that feel effortless and timeless. Each piece is dyed by hand, giving it subtle variations in tone that make every scarf truly unique. The silk–cotton blend gives it a gentle sheen with a lightweight, breathable feel, perfect for layering in any season.

 

Information: 

  • Care instructions: Hand wash separately in cool water. I use Ivory dishwashing soap which is ph neutral. Iron with an iron on silk setting.
  • Indigo natural dye. A bit of colour may come out in the wash but it won't change the colour of the garment.
  • Material: Silk/cotton

Mary Downe creates naturally dyed textiles in Vancouver, using silk, wool, and traditional Japanese Shibori techniques. Inspired by seasonal light and global traditions, her hand-dyed scarves combine sustainability and luxury
