After a career in Austria as a graphic designer and art director, HERMANN EDLER turned his hand to create modern, old-world folk art. A self taught carver, after drawing the design, all he needs is a scroll saw, a knife, a sander and paint to turn a piece of wood to art. Common themes are horses, roosters and other birds, hearts, cities, and trees of life. No two pieces are ever the same. His work has been collected in Austria, Australia, Northern Ireland, the USA and Canada.
