This handcrafted silk–cotton scarf is naturally dyed with Myrobalan and Indigo, resulting in a rich blend of warm golden hues and deep, layered blues. Dyed by hand using traditional natural dye techniques, each piece develops subtle shifts in colour and tone, ensuring that no two scarves are exactly alike. The lightweight silk–cotton fabric drapes softly, offering both elegance and everyday comfort.

  • Materials:  Silk and cotton blend
  • Care Instructions:  Hand wash separately in cool water using a pH-neutral soap such as Ivory dish soap. Iron gently on a silk setting.

 

About the artist

Mary Downe creates naturally dyed textiles in Vancouver, using silk, wool, and traditional Japanese Shibori techniques. Inspired by seasonal light and global traditions, her hand-dyed scarves combine sustainability and luxury
