Ted discovered a passion for glass in 1985 following a traumatic injury. He pursued his interest and went on to study at the Sheridan School of Crafts and Design. Ted opened a studio in Vancouver, where he worked for five years. Following this he traveled and had the opportunity to work and study with many noted glass artists, including Australian David Wright. His works have graced the tables of royalty, heads of state and other public figures. Jolda has exhibited in many shows worldwide and has earned many honours and critical acclaim. Ted currently works out of his own studio in Cedar, on Vancouver Island, where welcomes visitors to his own gallery, nestled in a nine acre country garden.
