Robert Held is a well known and respected member of Canada's art glass community. He has been working in glass for thirty years in several different capacities: student, teacher, artist, and now as an employer of more than twenty people at his studio in Vancouver, BC, where he continues the production of fine art glass. His own glass has been exhibited in Canada, the States, and Europe; seen in the Roland Mitchener and Indusman collections, and his goblets were chosen for the Governor General's table at Rideau Hall, Ottawa.
