Jaan Andres

Date: August 30–31

Time: 10am – 6pm

Join us at Circle Craft for a special pop-up with Vancouver glass artist Jaan Andres. Born in Ontario in 1985, Jaan began his journey in glass at the Alberta College of Art and Design, where he earned his BFA in 2007 and received the prestigious ACAD Board of Governors awards for glass. Since then, his practice has taken him across the globe — from training and exhibiting in Australia, China, and the United States, to teaching and sharing his craft internationally.

Now based in Vancouver, Jaan explores the expressive potential of glass by asking it to perform simple yet elegant gestures that reflect profound ideas. His work plays with themes of time, movement, and the interplay between the ancient and the futuristic. Each piece captures a balance of precision and poetry, making his creations as thought-provoking as they are visually stunning.

Meet Jaan in person, explore his latest glassworks, and take home a one-of-a-kind piece of BC-made artistry this weekend.

Non Member Exhibit

Throughout August, we are proud to feature Kolton Babych Fine Jewelry in our non-member exhibit. Based in Vancouver, Kolton is known for creating bold, sculptural pieces that embrace individuality. Drawing from a wide range of influences including nature, mythology, and storytelling, his work transforms natural materials into wearable art.

Each piece is made using natural, ethically sourced stones and pearls, carefully selected to highlight their unique characteristics. Slight variations in color, shape, and size are part of what makes every design truly one-of-a-kind. Kolton’s jewelry celebrates imperfection and individuality, offering something truly special for those looking to stand out.

Visit us this month to experience the beauty and craftsmanship of Kolton Babych Fine Jewelry.
