Born and raised in Burnaby, B.C., Robert Bush’s interest in art began at a young age. He continued to explore his passion throughout high school and went on to complete the two year Fine Arts program at Douglas College in 1977. In 1980, Robert graduated from the Emily Carr College of Art and Design with a major in ceramics.
For the next 26 years, from his home in Port Coquitlam, Robert produced and sold functional pottery throughout B.C. He has additionally instructed pottery classes at Place Des Arts in Maillardville for over 13 years.
In 2005, Robert and his wife Kim moved to Mission where he continues to make pottery his livelihood.
