Dale Rouleau is a self-taught wood-turner and sculptor. Using mostly native British Columbia woods, he takes unusual pieces of wood and transforms them into unique pieces of art. He particularly enjoys working with burled woods for their rough, gnarly surface.
Dale’s work ranges from free-form hollow turnings to variations on the class vase.
“Living in Cumberland on Vancouver Island, I am surrounded by the material and the inspiration for my work.”
