We are proud to host the second year of this exciting showcase celebrating student creativity and features over 120 works of young people in Grades 9 – 12. Participating schools include Gleneagle Secondary (Coquitlam), Riverside Secondary (Port Coquitlam), Burnaby North Secondary (Burnaby), Matthew McNair Secondary (Richmond), Walnut Grove Secondary (Langley), Elgin Park Secondary (Surrey), South Delta Secondary (Delta), Argyle Secondary (North Vancouver) and Lord Byng (Vancouver).

Each secondary school will have on display a wide variety of student artwork reflecting the quality and diversity of their visual arts programs. This display offers a snapshot of the many styles and media art students are practicing. Explorations in drawing, painting, mixed media, printmaking, collage and photography will be on view.

The objective of the Student Art Show 2008 is to promote and encourage student participation and excellence in a broad spectrum of visual arts. This art show provides a great opportunity for talented young artists to publicly exhibit their work.
